To Area Teaching Committees, cluster development facilitators, and Cluster Statistics Officers/data liaisons in the Northeast
Dear Friends,
You will see below a communication that was sent to individuals for whom we have email addresses and Spiritual Assemblies regarding reporting devotional gatherings. The attachments are the FAQ copied below and a directory that gives the friends the contact information needed for reaching either their cluster’s statistics officer or Area Teaching Committee/CDF so that they can report devotionals. Please note that this means that the believers will most likely contact you with their information. Therefore, please go over the FAQ document so you will know what the friends are being told and let Farzaneh or me know if you have any questions. In some cases where there is no ATC Secretary, I had to name another ATC member as the contact person, so please also look inside the directory so that you know who was listed. Also, those statistics officers who cover more than one cluster need to realize that you are listed for more than one cluster.
Most of all, please assist by making sure that all devotional gatherings in your cluster are reported in SRP and please assist the friends if they need help. Enter them into SRP as soon as you know about them; do not wait to report them. Also, remember that we do not want to engage the believers in the minute details of how things count. The spirit of the devotional campaign is that if someone feels that they are having a devotional gathering, we want to accept that they are. Encourage them and do not bring up roadblocks. Most of the time, if in doubt, let it count. Or if you need to check further, check with Farzaneh or me without telling the believer that you are doing so. Be only encouraging with the friends!
With love and gratitude for your assistance in this very important campaign,
Marie McNair, Secretary
Regional Baha’i Council of the Northeastern States
